I need to know what is in plans to extend Highway 4 . Will it be extended to Stockton or Tracy? There is two possible routes other than going straight through the Delta. One is so full of curves and bridges and the other is pretty straight but heads more in the southeastern direction that is toward Tracy and Interstate 580/205. I am beginning to notice recent minor improvements like better destination signs that help drivers avoid going through Brentwood unnecessarily like using the bypass all way around Brentwood. There is the Byron question. The northern route 12 is more clearly defined as contrary to the more confusing route 4 especially during nights.. If you live in Pittsburg or Antioch, chances are that you are easily confused using route 4 to interstate 580 or 5. At least things are improving a bit around there. Now I think I save 5 to 10 minutes going to Tracy or I-5 through route 4 lately by being shown new better highway signs pointing toward Antioch from Tracy. I am thrilled somewhat..
