Steve Kinsella, professional actor/director and owner of Brentwood Teen Theater, is offering a three-week, meat-and-potatoes course for actors 10 to 19, designed to equip them for auditions for agents, plus roles in commercials, industrial films, television and major motion pictures. Acting for the Camera will be offered on three consecutive Saturdays, March 7, 14 and 28, from 1 to 2:30 p.m.

Kinsella has been a force in the Bay Area film and stage arena for 17 years, helping performers attain goals ranging from college auditions to starring on Broadway to singing better in the church choir.

Acting for the Camera is designed to clear up the misconceptions about on-camera acting. The course explores on-camera dos and don’ts, the language spoken on camera sets and provides hands-on instruction and review.

The cost is $118 if paid on the first day of class; $98 before the first day of class. Enrollment is limited in these fun and informative sessions, so visit www.brentwoodteentheater.com or call 925-516-9009 for details.
