This month’s special garden, chosen by the Antioch Riverview Garden Club, belongs to Bernie and Jill Szalaj. Their wonderful yard includes grapevines, lawn, a rose garden, several trees – even a putting green.

If you desire to learn more about gardening, share ideas, make new friends or get involved in one of the many civic projects, you’re invited to join the Antioch Riverview Garden Club, which meets the first Tuesday of the month at 7 p.m. in the Antioch Public Library. Due to Election Day, the club’s November meeting is scheduled for Wednesday, Nov. 3.
