Hospice of the East Bay invites the public to the 24th annual ceremony at 4 p.m. in Somersville Town Center, 2556 Somersville Road in Antioch. This year’s tree lighting is dedicated to the memory of Lamont Campbell, longtime resident of Antioch and much-loved staff member of Hospice of the East Bay.

The Brentwood Chamber of Commerce’s 28th celebration of the season begins at 3:30 p.m. at The Streets of Brentwood, 2565 Sand Creek Road. In addition to the parade, tree lighting at 6:30 and an appearance by Santa, the event includes a craft fair featuring items from local vendors and nonprofits. DISCOVERY BAY PARADE OF LIGHTS & TREE LIGHTING
The seventh annual event showcases more than 200 lighted floats and vehicles. Thousands of spectators turn out each year for this holiday spectacular, which begins at 3 p.m. with a visit from Santa at the Discovery Bay Marina. The parade begins at 5 p.m. from the Boardwalk Grill parking lot and concludes at the Discovery Bay Shopping Center, followed by the tree lighting. For more information, call 925-408-8332.
LUHSD HOLIDAY HOME TOUR
Hosted by the Liberty Union High School District Education Foundation, the tour visits homes lovingly decked out in old-world finery and festive holiday décor.
