He failed to stop and led officers on a pursuit through Antioch. Ford was arrested minutes later in Pittsburg while attempting to flee on foot. He was found in possession of rock cocaine. A firearm belonging to Ford was located at one of his residences during a subsequent service of a search warrant.
In connection with the arrest of Ford, detectives responded to a local Antioch hotel on West 10th Street at approx 11:45 a.m. on Nov. 9 and arrested two additional cocaine dealers as they prepared to leave in their vehicle. Several ounces of cocaine, marijuana and ecstasy were located in their possession. They were identified as 39-year-old Martinez resident Timothy Davis and 25-year-old Pittsburg resident Johnny Denton.
All subjects were taken to the Martinez Detention Facility and charged with drug violations. Ford will also be charged as a felon in possession of a firearm.
Nov. 10 In 1997, in violation of a custody order, Elizabeth Stratton disappeared with her two children, Zachary and Chelsea. Stratton was 39 at the time. Local charges of parental kidnapping were filed against her as well as a federal charge of unlawful flight to avoid prosecution.
As of Nov. 10 of this year, both children, now adults, have been located by the FBI and the Antioch Police Department. The children, 22-year-old Zachary Stratton Smith and 19-year-old Chelsea Paige Smith, have asked that their location and residences be kept private. Their father has been notified.
Elizabeth Stratton is still missing and wanted, and is believed to be out of the country.
Nov. 16, 8:49 p.m. Officers of the Antioch Police Department responded to reports of a shooting outside of the 7-11 store at 2301 Buchanan Road.
Upon arrival, officers found a shooting victim, 21-year-old Antioch resident Gregory Flynn Levy, inside a nearby vehicle and provided him with first aid. Medical personnel pronounced the victim deceased a few minutes later.
A second occupant of the victim’s vehicle was uninjured and provided a statement. At this time there is no description available of the shooter, who had fled the scene on foot.

Nov. 26, 2:36 a.m.
Officers of the Antioch Police Department responded to the report of a shooting on Peppertree Court at Lemontree Way.
Upon arrival, officers found on the corner of on Peppertree Court at Lemontree Way a 26-year-old male Antioch resident suffering from a gunshot wound to the face. Inside an apartment on Peppertree Court, a 16-year-old female Antioch resident was found to have sustained two gunshot wounds – one to the arm and one to the leg.
Both victims were taken to area hospitals and treated for non-life-threatening injures. The investigation into this incident is ongoing.
