Woman dies in Antioch stabbing

On Monday, Dec. 6 at approximately 10 a.m., officers of the Antioch Police Department responded to the report of a woman who had just been stabbed at 2950 Delta Fair Blvd. Upon arrival, officers found the woman, who had sustained stab wounds, and also located the suspect, 56-year-old Antioch Resident Roy Crites, a short distance away.

The victim, who has yet to be identified, was transported to a local hospital, where she was pronounced dead.

The early stages of the investigation have revealed that Crites and the victim were involved in a dispute in the parking lot and Crites assaulted her with a knife, which was recovered in the parking lot.

Stabbing in Antioch what a shock. This town has been on the fast track to ghetto for a long time now. Soon we will just call it Oakland light.
