Sign-ups for football take place at The Game Sports Pub ’N Pizza, 235 Oak St. in Brentwood, on March 13, April 3 and 17, May 15, June 12, and July 10 and 24 from 3 to 5 p.m. The cheer sign-up deadline is April 17. Boys and girls 7 through 14 can register for a cost of $75. The season starts this summer.
The East County Lions lay claim to one national football championship, 10 league football titles and 60 playoff appearances. The cheerleaders boast five national titles, 225 regional titles and 94 Diablo Valley Youth Football Conference titles.
