The event begins at 5 p.m., when cocktails are served and a silent auction gets underway, followed by dinner, dancing and music.
A Place of Learning is a nonprofit education center offering free tutoring and other services to area residents. The Brentwood organization recently received the California Reading Association’s statewide Celebrate Literacy Award for its ongoing commitment to literacy.
