Members of the Warrior Watch and American Legion Riders, along with the Brentwood Kiwanis Club, recently held a long-overdue Welcome Home for retired Sgt. 1st Class Fred Urbin (in the brown hat).

Urbin, 79, served with the U.S. Army in Vietnam, Korea, Panama and stateside in his 22-year career.

The riders provide similar honors, including a motorcycle escort, to all arriving or departing service members, including Vietnam veterans who were shunned – or worse – upon their return. For more information, call 925-634-1441.

Thanks for your service, Fred!
