California taxpayers have the option to make a donation to the Police Activities League (PAL) on their state income tax this year. California PAL is one of 15 voluntary contributions on the 2010 state income tax return Form 540 and 540EZ. All taxpayers who fill out their state income tax can make a donation in any amount to California PAL.

Every PAL in the state will receive 80 percent of all donations from the contribution fund based on ZIP codes. As an example, if $4,000 was donated in your PAL’s ZIP code, your PAL will receive $3,200 – no strings attached.
