Brentwood’s Immaculate  Heart of Mary seventh-grade American boys basketball team recently won the Diablo East CYO Championship for the fourth consecutive year. They became the Oakland Diocese champions after avenging a one-point loss last year in the final seconds of the championship game. Led by head coach Lee Hancock and assistant coaches Tim Ruff and Larry Wallace, the team finished its undefeated season by bringing home the championship to East County. Team members are Chandler Hancock, Kyle Ruff, Marcus Wallace, Isiah Clement, Jacobi Ford, Adam Saleh, John Ketchel and Kevin Milam.
