‘Bee’ is the buzz at LMC

The curtain goes up for the Los Medanos College production of the Tony-Award-winning comedy “The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee” on Thursday, April 28 in the Little Theater, 2700 East Leland Road in Pittsburg.

LMC’s first musical in more than 10 years is a collaboration of the drama and music departments, directed by Nick Garcia with musical direction by Silvester Henderson.

“The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee” runs April 28, 29, 30, May 2, 4, 5, 6, and 9 at 8 p.m., and May 4 at 11 a.m. General admission is $12; $10 for students. For more information, call 925-439-2181 or visit www.losmedanos.edu/drama/events.asp.
