Eric will be fondly remembered in the heart of his wife of more 32 years, Christine, by his children, Michael and Angela, and by his brother, Bruce, all of whom were deeply touched by his love and dedication to their happiness and well-being. Eric will also be remembered by numerous grandchildren, cousins, nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and other extended family members as well as treasured friends and coworkers.
Eric’s influence in the world penetrated deeper and rippled out farther than his humble being would ever have accepted credit for. Stories abound of countless acts of kindness he extended to his coworkers, clients and community members. His generous nature was felt by his family and friends as well as acquaintances and strangers. Eric was both a protector and a seeker of truth and will be remembered for his love of animals, adventure, humor and life.
For more than three decades, Eric served with his heart and deepest dedication as a sales executive in the food industry, most of which he spent with Sysco Foods, a national food distribution company. His commitment to serving his clients through the years was more than a job; it was his life’s purpose to make sure everyone from small-restaurant owners to large hotels to our precious schools were provided the best service, enabling them to provide nourishment and fond social memories to the individuals they served.
As a Brentwood resident since 1981, Eric’s presence shall be felt in the community for many years to come. He not only supported the success of numerous restaurants and small-business owners but also served the community by volunteering for its baseball little leagues, a sport for which he had much passion. Through the years, an unimaginably loving support network of friends evolved to which Eric’s family owes much gratitude. These friends in the community are graciously thanked for their continuous gifts of love and support.
