Regarding “Free Neighborhood Cleanups”: These green notices are sent out infrequently and we read them and we try to schedule it in.
What if the notice started out this way: “Let’s ALL keep Brentwood beautiful. We will be open only from 9 to 11 a.m., Saturday May 14, to receive recyclable, sorted items. Please note: for us to better serve you, contact your ever diligent councilman for longer open house hours and great frequency.”
Wouldn’t this give us an incentive and a greater opportunity to clean up? What do you think?
