Vector Marketing has opened a new sales office in Antioch at 3700 Delta Fair Blvd., Suite H. Run by Vector District Manager Tuan Ho, the office will be used for the recruitment and training of new sales representatives and for team meetings where additional training and mentorship is provided. Sales representatives market Vector’s product, CUTCO Cutlery, through in-home presentations and use the sales office as home base.

As independent contractors, Vector district managers own their Vector sales office on an individual basis. Being a Vector DM allows Ho to be an entrepreneur while gaining guidance and support from corporate headquarters. Following Vector’s strict promote-from-within policy, all managers begin as sales representatives.

As with all managers in the company, Ho began as a sales representative selling Cutco and worked his way up through the company, becoming a field sales manager and branch manager before receiving his most recent promotion. Ho graduated from University Technical Institute in 2007 and has been working with Vector since 2008.

“To be financially independent and a business owner at age 23 is more than I would have dreamed just a few years ago as an average, troubled teen,” said Ho. “Vector helped me find direction, and for that, I’m grateful.”

Vector Marketing Corporation is a wholly owned subsidiary of CUTCO Corporation, headquartered in Olean, N.Y. As a single-level direct sales firm, it is the exclusive marketer of CUTCO Cutlery and accessories, which are sold directly to consumers via in-home demonstrations.

The company offers an extensive leadership training and life skills development program to encourage its college-student reps to not only succeed with sales of its products but be equipped with the tools and lessons necessary to succeed in life.
