An upcoming yard sale in Discovery Bay will raise awareness and funds to find a cure for a disease called eosinophilic esophagitis, an inflammation of the esophagus. The event is held Saturday and Sunday, June 4 and 5 from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. at 2427 Aberdeen Lane. Michelle Brandon, whose son has been diagnosed with the disease, is hosting the event.
