The Brentwood Wildcats 10U softball team finished its season with a second-place finish in the recent NSA California State Championships played in Modesto. On Sunday, the Wildcats played their way out of the losers bracket, beating the Velocity of Paso Robles, the Tracy Titans and the Benicia Fired Up to get them to the championship game. In their fourth game, in 105-degree heat, the Wildcats fell to Concord Lady Liberty to claim second place.
