Ken Pruitt took the Discovery Bay Press to Abu Dhabi in the United Arab Emirates, where he visited the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque – said to be the eighth largest mosque in the world.

Encompassing an area the size of five football fields, the mosque lays claim to the world’s largest carpet (7,119 square meters) and the world’s largest chandelier, made from 1 million Swarovski crystals. The 22,412-square-meter edifice also features 28 types of marble and 24-carat gold throughout.
