Local waterskier Greg Badal cuts through the water earlier this year at Diablo Shores in Brentwood. Diablo Shores will host its Pro-Am competition, a USA Waterski event, from Sept. 9 through 11. This is Diablo Shores’ 10th year hosting the event, one of the biggest waterski competitions in the country. Admission is free and the action starts at 8 a.m. on Sept. 9 with some of the best amateur waterskiers from the West Coast showing their stuff. For more information, visit www.diabloshores.com.
