Coming soon to a yogurt store near you: A chance to support the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society and get a tummy full of froyo at the same time. The event is Heather Pace’s Team in Training fundraiser, Hot August Nights Froyo Fundraiser, set for all day Aug. 30 at Yogurt Jungle, 761 Second St. in Brentwood.

Money raised will go toward blood cancer research and help families deal with the cost of hospital stays and medication. If you can’t make it to the event but would like to donate, you can send a check (payable to The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society) to Heather Pace, 730 Hawkstone Court, Brentwood, CA 94513.
