If you like sprint cars, lots of them are coming at you from Antioch Speedway on Monday.

The Saturday, Sept. 10 event at the Antioch Speedway has been canceled to prepare for the World of Outlaws Sprint Cars arrival at the track on Monday, Sept. 12. The rare Monday night racing date was added to the Antioch schedule just weeks ago. The World of Outlaws series features some of the most talented sprint car racers in the nation.

Preparation for the extravaganza has been non-stop. The grandstands have been painted, the pits spruced up, and accommodations for parking have been arranged. This is the World of Outlaws’ first Antioch Speedway appearance. The evening promises a feast for sprint car lovers.

On Saturday, Sept. 17, the speedway is back in action with both All Star Wingless Sprint Cars and 360 Winged Sprints. Limited Late Models, Super Hobby Stocks, Mini Trux, Dwarf Cars and Four Bangers are also on the schedule.

The DIRTcar West Modified Stock Cars return to Antioch Speedway Sept. 24. The following weekend, the Budweiser Fall Classic features a two-division, two-track event for DIRTcar West Modifieds and Western All Stars Late Models. The show begins at the Speedway on Saturday, Oct. 1 and moves to Merced Speedway on Sunday, Oct. 2.
