Power was briefly lost to various buildings in downtown Brentwood around 9 a.m. Monday morning and soon restored. As of 10:45 a.m., PG&E crews were working to repair the cable.

According to PG&E crew foremen George Hsu and confirmed by the Brentwood Police Department, a vehicle snagged the guy wire associated with high-voltage power cables, breaking cable supports near the intersection of Brentwood Boulevard and Birch Street.
