Those looking to support a worthy cause while enjoying some of Antioch’s finest cuisine should mark their calendars for Sunday, Oct. 23 and the Pride of the Delta Restaurant Tour. The self-guided tour, featuring samplings from a variety of local restaurants, runs from 1 to 5 p.m. The $15 admission includes food only; all beverages must be purchased separately.

Proceeds from the tour, presented by Kiwanis Club of the Delta, benefit local nonprofit organizations. “It’s a great event whose purpose is to raise money for the community and local charities,” said incoming Kiwanis President TJ Bradley. “We’re looking forward to a fun day.”

This year’s participating restaurants include El Porton Azul, Big Kahuna Sandwich Shop, Rick’s on Second, Carpaccio’s Ristorante, Celia’s Mexican Restaurant, Humphrey’s on the Delta, Little Manuels, Skipolini’s Pizza and Starbucks Coffee on A Street.

To purchase tickets or for more information, call Lynn Ferguson at 925-207-7779, Kay Power at 925-757-2151 or TJ Bradley at 925-864-4188.
