Pvt. Joseph A. Zalec, a 2011 graduate of Heritage High School, completed basic combat training for the United States Army at Fort Leonard Wood, Mo. on Sept. 29. Zalec has begun advanced training in military intelligence at Fort Huachuca, Ariz.

Parents Tony and Roxana, and brothers Nick and Tony attended Zalec’s graduation ceremony and are very proud of their soldier. Way to go, Joey! Hooah!
