Residents of Ashford Park in Brentwood (off Fairview Avenue and Apricot Way) held their third annual Halloween parade, organized by Neighborhood Watch coordinator and Keller Williams Realtor Nancy Gonzales. More than 50 kids and parents joined in the procession, stopping at houses distributing Halloween goodies and finishing in the neighborhood’s court, where they enjoyed coloring contests, pizza, desserts and a jumpy house. As Gonzales put it, “It’s a nice way for neighbors to chat, bond and make friendships.” Not especially spooky, but certainly spirited.
