More than 100 students from the Brentwood Union School District pitched in during the recent Kids Against Hunger packing event in Brentwood.

In total, 76,032 freeze-dried meals – to be shipped to Haiti and Kenya – were packed up during the two-day event.

Kids Against Hunger is a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing nutritious meals to malnourished children in developing countries.
