ALL of the proceeds from admission at this event will go to help get food and gifts that were stolen!
How the event works: Bring any gently used clothes for baby, kids, teens, men and women (including maternity) and toys, books, blankets, high chairs, bikes, games…. you name it, you can bring it as long as it is clean and in good working order! There will also be a swap section for holiday decorations and home décor.
Don’t have stuff to swap? That’s ok too… there will be ±10 unique vendors onsite for our holiday boutique area… Make sure to wear your festive outfits as there will be a photographer at the event taking fun holiday pictures at the event! Families can bring their items from 3-4pm and then swap with other families from 4-6pm!
This is a fun, green and philanthropic event that supports the communities of East Contra Costa County and beyond!
Families can drop off items at Little Miss Everything in Downtown Brentwood. The clothing and gear swap is Saturday Dec, 3rd from 3-6 but families can make donations of food or gifts anytime.
Visit: www.peaceloveswap.com to learn more about the clothing and gear swaps or check out the event page on Facebook at http://www.facebook.com/events/309265012435651/.
In addition, peace.love.swap will be donating leftover gently used items to the ‘Peace Closet’. The peace closet is a store front location in Brentwood that offers families in need clothes, blankets and other misc items free of charge. The ‘store’ is open daily until Dec 31st as long as there is still a supply of items to keep it open.
If you can help in any way or would like to volunteer at the event please let me know. Thank you for your support!
Best, Angelina
