“Now What? I have to be Gluten Free!” is a free class taught by Dr. Margaret Stahler on Thursday, Dec. 8 from 6:30-7:30 p.m. at the Brentwood Liberty Adult Education building’s room 24, 929 Second St. in Brentwood.

The class explores the gluten-free diet, what you can eat, special products, how to cook them and what to do when eating out. Barbara Guise, owner of Health Hut, carries many gluten-free food products at her store and will provide samples to taste and items for sale. Attendees are invited to share a gluten-free tip and follow up on their health concerns by making an appointment to see Stahler in her naturopathic medicine practice. The event also features a drawing for a gift certificate.

The event is co-sponsored by Madrona Naturopathic Healthcare and the Health Hut. For information, call 925-634-5361.
