U.S. Army PVT3 Cody Lightfoot
The community recently welcomed home U.S. Army PVT3 Cody Lightfoot home to Discovery Bay after his return from Iraq. Trained as a driver/gunner, he spent most of his tour manning a gun atop a Humvee. There to welcome him and his motorcycle escort, in addition to proud mom Dee Ann, were two West Point cadets: Cody’s good friend Andy Horne, left, also a Discovery Bay resident and 2009 Liberty High School graduate. On the right is Cody’s brother Tyler, a freshman at West Point.
