Deer Valley junior forward Kai Butler blocks a shot by Liberty’s Mazhane Rima Fleurima on Tuesday night. The Wolverines claimed an easy 60-24 victory over their Bay Valley Athletic League foes, advancing to 12-6 (3-0 in BVAL play). Senior guard Monique Mulder led Deer Valley with 20 points. Senior center Bernadette Fong scored a team-high 10 points for the Lions (13-5, 1-2 BVAL).
