Aaron W. Ganz is survived by his parents, Gary and Debra Ganz; brother, Gabriel Ganz, Sr.; nephews, Gabe Ganz, Jr., Braden and Luke; niece, Sierra; and many loving aunts, uncles and cousins. He leaves behind his fiancée, Jamie Davis, and her children, Kody and Kerry Ann.

Aaron graduated from Liberty High School in Brentwood in 1990. He attended Los Medanos College, Lane Community College in Eugene, Ore. and was most recently a full-time student at University of Oregon studying for his Ph.D.

Aaron was a lifetime athlete, playing high school and college football. He enjoyed engaging in weightlifting, racquetball, cycling, golfing, basketball and martial arts. He coached youth football, baseball, and helped manage the security for the Oregon Ducks.

He was active with Carlton House Alumni Group in Eugene, and helped mentor and teach youth and adults.

It is with great sadness that his family and many friends say goodbye. A celebration of his life will be held at Byron Methodist Church on Saturday, Feb. 4 at 11 a.m. Friends and family are invited to attend.
