Boy Scout Troop 90 of Brentwood recently celebrated Scoutmaster Chris Friedmann’s acceptance of the Silver Beaver award, the highest honor a Boy Scout Council can bestow on a Scouter. Friedman, seen here with wife Cindy, was honored at the Mt. Diablo Silverado Council Recognition Dinner in Concord.

The award recognizes adult leaders who make an impact on the lives of youth, implement the Scouting program and perform community service through hard work, self sacrifice, dedication and many years of service.
