Congratulations to Oakley resident Mary Anne Johnson, who was recently named the California Water Environment Association’s Laboratory Person of the Year for the San Francisco Bay Area.

The award recognizes Johnson’s involvement in projects that advance the science of laboratory technology. A Chemist III at Delta Diablo Sanitation District in Antioch, Johnson will compete in April against other regional winners for the California Water Environment Association’s state award.
