After 15 years of serving the community, the Delta Community Presbyterian Church aerobic program is coming to an end.

The program has featured classes in body sculpting, step aerobics, yoga, Pilates, boot camp, and most recently, Zumba. All equipment for the classes was purchased by the attendees or donated by instructors and others.

In addition to becoming fit and remaining active, class members made friendships that continue to flourish and blossom. The class has celebrated the birth of babies, the accomplishments of children, marriages, job promotions and retirement. Members also supported one another through personal illness, loss and the death of loved ones.

The decision to end the program was difficult, but since many instructors and attendees had moved out of the area, returned to the work force or engaged in other activities, attendance continued to decline.

But the memories remain.
