The Brentwood Blast 11 Red baseball team recently took the title at the Super NIT Tournament at Manteca’s Big League Dreams, cruising 5-0 through the three-day tournament. In an exciting championship showdown, the Blast outdueled the Golden Spikes Huskies for a 3-2 victory. Tournament MVP Steven Kerr pitched all six innings, fanning nine batters. Sean Andrus was also named to the All-Tournament team for his pitching and clutch hitting. Lance Harden’s stellar defense and power hitting earned him a spot on the All-Tournament team as well. All 11 Blast players contributed to a true team victory in their first tournament of the new season.
