Oakley Mayor Kevin Romick, center, visited Iron House Elementary School earlier this month to read Dr. Seuss stories to the students as part of Read Across America, an annual reading motivation and awareness program that calls for every child in every community to celebrate reading. The mayor stuck around after storytime to enjoy green eggs and ham with the students.
