Adams Middle School in Brentwood recently celebrated Pi Day with mathematical activities – and of course, pie. Nations Hamburgers in Brentwood and Black Bear Diner in Tracy donated pies for the event. The top digit memorizers were sixth-grader Ethan Divera (120 digits), seventh-grader Megan Valle (145) and the top winner and school record holder, Kevin Chen, who memorized a whopping 170 digits. Zak Rubio, Raener Baluyut and Ethan are seen above enjoying their winnings.
