The egg hunt starts promptly at 10 a.m., but attendees are encouraged to arrive early for pictures with the Easter Bunny and participate in fun activities and free games, including the new Easter Bonnet decorating contest. Prizes will be awarded.
For the egg hunt, children are separated by age group, starting with the 2-and-under runners and crawlers. The hunt begins at 10 a.m. sharp and lasts only minutes – so don’t disappoint the wee ones by being late.
Now in its 16th year, the Discovery Bay Easter Egg Hunt is presented by the Discovery Bay Lions Club. Proceeds from raffles benefit local churches’ Vacation Bible School summer day camp.
