Grenades players Jordan Alexander, Chris Pho and Logan Stuart are all smiles during Antioch Little League’s Opening Day, held Saturday at Antioch High School’s Beede Auditorium. The ceremony was kicked off by the parade of players, after which first pitches were tossed out by the Twins’ softball tandem of Kylie Cast and Megan Felix, plus the Fireballs’ baseball duo of Dominic Pino and Jordon Luis. After the recent rain and cold, the players are excited to play ball and continue an Antioch tradition that dates back to the ’50s.
