Election time is coming up rapidly this year. We should ensure that all voters know the importance of voting and help them make an educated vote.
Voting gives you a voice in being able to help make a positive change. Each and every policy affects every citizen. It’s our job to try and turn the world into a better place for the next generations.
We should understand the direction our country is going in. There are many critical issues that are at hand currently. Even though these issues might not affect you right now, later down the road these issues will affect you. Your vote shows a message about the issues you think are important.
The government represents the people and it is employed by the people. Every vote makes a difference, by holding our national leaders responsible for the decisions they make. Your vote demonstrates our rights as free citizens to elect our government and take part in a democracy. There is no democracy without voting.
During campaign time it’s easy to get caught up in all the promises the candidates are making, but when you make an educated vote you feel more confident in your choice and candidate. Voters should look at both sides. Make sure the pros and cons are examined carefully. Voters should decide which mission statements support their views. It’s extremely important to understand what your candidates stand for. They are your voice.
