Sutter Delta Medical Center recently donated $5,000 to the Special Kids Foundation to assist with the construction of a Universal Abilities Playground at the Delta Family YMCA in Oakley. The joint partnership between Special Kids and the YCMA will include the playground as well as a brand-new facility with rooms for Special Kids programs. Special Kids Foundation Executive Director Lisa McBride, center, accepts the check from Sutter Delta representatives during their monthly support group meeting at the Black Bear Diner in Oakley.
