At its recent Spring Break Clinic, Black Diamond Kids Center hosted two special visitors: guest clinicians Lu Li, who won a gold medal on the uneven bars for China in the 1992 Barcelona Olympics; and Peter Doyle, men’s national team member and former Cal Berkeley Women’s assistant coach.

The coaches spent several hours training Black Diamond’s competitive gymnastics team on new skills. Li and Doyle also worked with Black Diamond’s coaches on how to inspire and motivate students through positive reinforcement.
