Cheetahs chase down medals

The East County Cheetahs made an impressive showing at the California Track Meet last weekend at Dublin High School. The Cheetahs earned seven medals, led by 11-year-old Miles Duncan of Antioch, who finished first in the 400- and 800-meter events and second in the 1500-meter event.

Other Cheetahs medalists – all from Antioch – were Marsalis Duncan, 1500 meters; Alonzo Floriolli, long jump; Adesuwa Oiyemhonlan, shot put; and Ebeide Oiyemhonlan, 800 meters.
