It’s time to drag out the work tools, clean out last season’s pots and containers and get planting. And this year, as always, DIG (Delta Informal Gardeners) is here to help.

On Saturday, May 12 from 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., the Society of East County Growers hosts its 24th annual plant sale at 700 Creek Road in Brentwood. The popular event features thousands of plants for sale – from perennials to annuals – all grown by DIG members.

Prices range from $1.50 for 1-gallon annuals to $5.50 for 5-gallon plants. For more information, visit www.deltainformalgardeners.org.
