Deer Valley’s Grant Wheeler launches a shot past a De La Salle athlete in last weekend’s Deer Valley Junior Varsity Invitational. The Wolverines finished in a tie for fifth, facing tough competition from all over the Bay Area. James Logan won the tournament. Antioch and Heritage tied for 13th, Freedom placed 18th and Pittsburg 21st.
