Brentwood resident Robert Falck passed away peacefully of natural causes at home on April 18. He was 87. Robert touched many lives with his gentle spirit and positive outlook on life.

After serving in the U.S. Army, Robert worked for the City of Minneapolis, where he was born. He then founded and owned Continental Appraisal Company for 40 years, which appraised heavy construction equipment. Robert traveled all over the world for his business. He enjoyed fishing, boating, golfing and reading a good book.

Robert is survived by Doris, his loving wife of 64 years; children, Stephen (Patty) Falck of Berlin, Md., Carol (Bill) Dutcher of Livermore, Barbara (Hugh) Henderson of Brentwood, and Janet (Vic) Valdes of Livermore; and six grandchildren. He is also survived by his sister, Avis Pangerl (Rupert) of Pine City, Minn.

Robert’s generous and loving spirit will be missed by all who knew him.

The family extends thanks to Hospice of the East Bay for its help in Robert’s final days, and requests that donations be made in Robert’s name to Hospice of the East Bay, 3470 Buskirk Ave., Pleasant Hill, CA 94523.
