A fundraiser for young Sydney Stone, an East County girl battling Cyclical Vomiting Syndrome (CVS), has been planned for Friday, May 4 from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at State Farm, 2411 Empire Ave., Suite 108 in Brentwood. The event features raffles, food and door prizes, and proceeds go toward Sydney’s medical costs. Residents will be selling merchandise from Mary Kay, Partylite, Silpada, Legal Shield, Tastefully Simple, Cash for Gold, State Farm, Wine Shop @ Home and DIVA Purses.
