The Brentwood Teen Theater will be conducting auditions for its Spring Training Session, featuring training for actors between age 10 and 18 who desire a fun, challenging program of professional instruction in skills for the stage.

The session includes a full production of Disney’s “High School Musical 2 On Stage,” the sequel to the theater’s successful fall production, “High School Musical.” Performances of “High School Musical 2 On Stage” are scheduled for April 17, 18, 24 and 25.

The program, taught by award-winning professional stage director Steve Kinsella, incorporates intensive training in singing, acting, dance, confidence training, team skills and personal growth. The program has helped many high school students secure college scholarships and develop their performance arts skills.

The Spring Training Session is a tuitioned program offering early-payment discounts for those completing online registration or those who come to class Saturday, Jan. 31 at 9:30 a.m. Classes meet in the north wing of Resurrection Ministries, 1275 Fairview Ave. (at Sand Creek Road) in Brentwood. Rehearsals typically run Saturdays from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., and involve additional rehearsals for lead roles and full cast as the production dates near. Tuition may be broken into payments; sibling and work-trade discounts are also available. Call early to reserve a place in the program.
