Tickets for the Contra Costa County Fair, held May 31 through June 3, are on sale now, and earlybirds save not only money but time by purchasing fair tickets online at www.contracostafair.com.

Advanced ticket sales are offered now through May 30 at the Fairgrounds, 1201 W. 10th St. in Antioch. For big savings, Money Saving Mondays allows those who stop by the fair office to purchase a Family Fun Pass for only $20. The pass includes four adult admissions for a savings of $12. This special is available only at the fair office on Mondays through May 30.

Advance purchases also mean discounts on adult, senior and children’s admission plus carnival ride wristbands. When you purchase a fair package online, you get two adult admissions and two ride wristbands for only $44 – a savings of $12.

Advance-sale tickets may also be purchased at local Walgreens stores from May 11 through 30.

After May 30, admission to the fair is $8 for adults; $5 for seniors and children. Children under 5 are admitted for free.

Gates for this year’s Contra Costa County Fair open Thursday and Friday at noon; Saturday and Sunday at 11 a.m. Gates close each day at 11 p.m.
