A pack of cyclists zoomed down Camino Diablo in Byron as part of the Amgen Tour of California, one of the most prestigious bicycle races in the world. Hundreds of professional racers ride though California in stages, starting in Santa Rosa and ending in Beverly Hills. The cyclists spun from Clayton to Byron via Marsh Creek Road as part of the third stage – a 115-mile ride from San Jose to Livermore. Peter Sagan of Slovakia won not only this stage, but the previous two as well.
